Hello,

Myself and my fiancé are looking at getting a joint bank account to make it easier to pay bills and rent and stuff without it coming from the one account. It's been a long time since I opened a bank account and it looks like they all charge a fair bit for a current account now.

Can anyone fill me on the basics of a joint account and what one makes sense for a young couple? We wouldn't have much going into it every month so we probably can't avoid some charges...
