Hi, Just a quick query, but I would be grateful for a response. When should/do teachers receive their timetables for September?

Varies from school to school. Timetabling depends on the school knowing they have sufficient staff to cover all classes. Sometimes this is not the case until late June.
Depends too on the timetabler. if it is a busy Principal then s/he won't get to the job until state exams begin. Depends too on the complexity of the timetable and subject choices, specialist rooms, etc etc.
If you get a goo dworkign timetable in the week before you come back to school,,,,, be grateful!

Usually get ours about 5 days before we go back, although we have once or twice had to wait until we actually had our first meeting back. Totally depends on the school, we do know what subjects and specific class groups we will be teaching already though.

We get told every year that they are aiming to have them out before July this year....every year:pac::pac::pac: (then it's usually start of august).

You are supposed to have your timetable before school in order to fill in your S and S preferences from 1-10 and send it back in
