Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bloody brave performance by Wexford. Disappointing to come away with nothing but what a game. Really put it up to them.

Very unlucky to come away with nothing.

Wexford played good football and caused Dundalk problems all game. A terrific game of football and one that would attract people to the league.

absolute howler by Gallagher under no pressure to give away the corner that led to the Shams goal. Id love to know what went through McCabe's head before grabbing Dee with both hands and throwing him to the ground.... or what line Dee used on him :pac:
Rode our luck at times but game was there to be won by either team in the end. Our "bad form" limited to 8 days...

We are in great form at the minute. 6 wins in the last 7 games! Another 3 points on Friday in Ballybofey would be a nice way to enter the break.

Sadlier starting to show what a good signing he was. Signed up for next year too.

thought he was one of your best players when we played ye. was targeting Sligo for a win in this round a few weeks ago, not as sure now! I had in my head Robertson has a few English loanees in? Are ye going to lose anyone during the break?

We only have two on loan actually. Jaanai Gordon has not played much, so I'm not worried about losing him. The other player on loan is Jordan Richards from Notts County who has been very good recently. It would be nice if we could extend his loan, but they might want him back.

Not sure how we are financially, but it would be nice is Robertson had a few euro available to bring in another striker when Gordon goes back to West Ham.

We gave Limerick a good run today, to be honest we got unlucky their 2nd penalty looked a bit outside the box!

Yeah Rovers had enough chances to finish that game before the red card (two or three 1-on-1s), but Harps managed it well after that.

That was such a satisfying game yesterday in Dalymount. Anyone checked in on Dreamers yet to make sure he's ok?

    :pac:

Hell of a game yesterday in Oriel Park. Fair fucks to Wexford who played some brilliant football and didn't just sit back and defend en masse like 99% of teams do when they play us at home. They had a gameplan defending well and breaking very intelligently which caused us all sorts of problems. Atmosphere has been lacking at quite a few home games this season but yesterday the crowd were kicking and heading every ball with the team and the place went ballistic when we got the late late winner. More Sunday early evening games please!

That was the type of game which wins Dundalk leagues and why CCFC dont. Late winner for Dundalk again, while when we played Waxford we couldnt get the late winner despite missing a bucket load of chances.

Friday night now is a must not lose for CCFC at home to Dundalk. Arguably its a must win as they are not going to drop too many points this season.

I'd put it into the must not lose category. If you look at the last two seasons, Dundalk had a much lower points tally in the last round of fixtures compared to the earlier rounds . Teams will drop points when the pressure is on.

Dundalk are setting a great pace but Cork are not letting them pull away.
