    So what?

He's enjoying himself why does it bother people when they see someone enjoying themselves while harming noone.

Because of his age he can't dance?

    Pathetic existence.

I'm a Taoiseach out of Castlebar
    I pay my water rates.

    I always done a half-assed job
    Half-assed as I could
I got a tanaiste named Francis
    and Francis aint no good.

They do. 50% of final salary as pension for life and 18 months salary lump sum at retirement. Trying to cover the cost of that (thanks Bertie) into the future is going to make recapitalising the banks look like a piece of p1ss in comparison

This is a reasonable pension for someone at 65 with 40 years service, the problem is that the politicians can get a generous pension with a lot less service than that.
Sure president Micky was at u2 last November

Did he let his hair down?

I have a great dislike for Enda Kenny as I do not agree with some of his policies and think he is a weak politician but this makes him seem a bit more human to me. He's well entitled to enjoy himself in his spare time.

Simple answer..he's not a liked man

He has consistently been returned by his constituents for 40 yrs to the Dail.

He is leader of the most popular political party in the current Dail and the previous Dail.

He is the most successful leader in the history of Fine Gael.

    Someone clearly likes him...

    You obviously don't

I love this view, FFers struggle to explain wtf they were bleating about in opposition for when one of their own supposedly introduced what FG implemented.

Brian Lenihan was an appalling minister for finance, almost as big an idiot as the Cowan.

Oh I agree that the Troika saved the country.

As a business owner with employees and mortgages I am acutely aware of what has happened to this country and the hits that people like me have taken since 2008. But I'm not going to give huge credit to FG for merely continuing down the road that Brian Lenihan started or pretend that the recovery started with Kenny. He has been a very limited Taoiseach, afraid of the media, disastrously failing to get reforms like the Seanad referendum over the line etc. A singularly unimpressive leader...except for Denis O'Brien, who yet again came up smelling of roses after the Siteserv/Irish Water deal, Topaz, the private hospitals etc...

Is mement a word now? Like, there's a 95% chance it's just a typo but it could be a word for moments that are meme worthy, in which case I'm not so out of touch that it completely went over my head, but I'm on my way there.

I do feel he's getting a lot more abuse for this than Bertie would've gotten and, I think, it's a lot more down to him being an awkward old man from the country than being a c*nt (not that I dispute the latter at all).

I'm seeing some news media pages on Facebook today posting pics of Enda rocking the air guitar at the concert in Croke Park and having the craic with his wife.

Its a bit like services being cut and charges etc. being raised and for those affected there he is having a great time dancing on their graves almost :D

...and for some reason people are angry (sorry, ****ed up the title)

I'm seeing some news media pages on Facebook today posting pics of Enda rocking the air guitar at the concert in Croke Park and having the craic with his wife. All good fun. But the comments are full of idiots saying crap like "how can he have a night out wen ders homeless people on de streets" and "ders never a sniper around wen ya need 1" and "That miserable prick didn't buy a ticket. And I bet the Dickhead kept his receipts for his hotdogs to claim back as expenses". One person even wished he fell off the balcony he was on.

Now, most people enjoyed the pics saying fair play to him and calling him a "ledge" for doing the air guitar thing and enjoying himself. Generally just having a good attitude and not thinking too much into it.

But some people are actually begrudging him for enjoying himself at a concert. What the f*ck! I really hate this country sometimes.

As my fella says, it's just down to the need to very visibly have the Opposing Viewpoint, no matter how daft it is. This stance is rife across social media; the need to cultivate an image as an outside-the-norm, non-"sheeple" thinker, when in reality they end up looking not too bright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,378 ✭✭✭mojesius

No fan of Enda but looks like him and the wife were having great craic, enjoying the show. What's the problem with that.

I can't stand these idiots filming ****e at a concert/festival, immediately uploading it to youtube, instead of actually experiencing it. Same thing with people who watch the entire concert through their smartphone on record. What's the point.
