Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    There we go.... great goal.

The 12 or 13 Hull fans go wild.

Poor from Westwood imo, thought he was a bit off his line.

    It was coming...
Can't see the owls getting anything. The final third keeps breaking down.
    Hopefully a snatch and grab!

I know it's a strange thing to say as they went down with virtually the same team last year, but on paper that Hull side would give survival a good go without any additions.

    Hooper has been poison

It'll never happen, but Hull should be lining up a replacement for Steve Bruce and give him the bullet as quickly as possible this summer if they find someone suitable, in order to give themselves the best possible chance next season.

If they give Bruce the boot, he's a championship specialist

    Absolutely.

Put Brucey out to stud & get in Quique Sánchez Flores or similar.

Might seem harsh.... but would be for the best.

Fair play to Hull, fully deserved win and wish them all the best next season. It's a disappointing end to a great year for the Owls, still onwards and upwards we're definitely on the right track.

Hard luck Wednesday. Hopefully they build on this season and challenge for promotion again next year.

Poor enough match overall. You can't get promoted if you barely can create a chance from open play, Wednesday were the same in the semi-final and got lucky with Wallace's goal. Even though Hull got promoted I could see most of that starting team being replaced for the Premier League.

Get in !! Chuffed for Brucey.

I'd say very few will be replaced. Maybe another striker up front to go alongside Hernandez, and a CB as both Dawson and Davies are quite old. McGregor to come back into side at GK too.

I'd wager that hull side will come straight back down without some major changes too many journey men and bruce won't be able for the prem especially with this team

Very well-deserved win for Hull, we never turned up. Particularly disappointed with Bannan who played so well all season. He disappeared for the play-offs.

Really hate seeing a happy Steve Bruce!

    Ian Holloway disagrees.

Why do the shít teams always go up?

I wanted Brighton or Wednesday and I get Middlesboro and Hull

If it's only very few it'll be a long hard struggle. Davies, Snodgrass, Huddlestone and Diame will struggle week in, week out in the PL. Davies especially isn't good enough at all at CB, Huddlestone and Diame in midfield will be torn apart by decent PL teams, and Livermore will have to do twice as much work.

Diame has played in the premier league for several years and has honestly never looked out of place. It all depends on where Bruce plays him and what role he wants him to fulfil.
