Goals mean less when there are high level players in the squad capable of stepping up and scoring the same amount when they are made the focal point.

i agree with you, that if a team is good enough there will always be goals scored, but ffs you have to at least acknowledge how good his goal scoring record is.

while i agree messi creates more goals, they both create so much space for their team mates by literally just being on the pitch and opposition being more concerned with them than others. do you think bale could do what ronaldo did at madrid ?
