Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bitch not coming into heat

    We have a sheepdog that hasn't come into heat for a while now. She had pups nov14 ,we kept one pup but was hit by a car and died:( .we would like to have another litter but she isn't coming into heat. Any advice, she is a fit dog and isn't fat

    I wouldn't be worrying just yet op, it's only a little over 6 months since her litter. Depending on a few factors, you could give her a bit of leeway.

    You would expect your bitch to come into heat 4 mths after her last litter. Even for bitches with irregular cycles like one of mine.

    If you are certain she did not have silent heats then it is time to see the vet.
