When you enter the frequencies press the OK button, it will then scan the channel and it will be in your 23.5E services list. The service list will be in alphabetical order so you will have to peruse that to select the stage you want (unless you set up a fav list and add the 6 channels to it so you wont have to keep switching back and forth).

The Ch Names (listed below) are what will appear in your 23.5E services (to pull up 23.5 services, pull up your channel list and press green and select 23.5E)

When you scan the channels individually you are seeing the last scanned list. You need to switch to the 23.5E services list.

    Pyramid Stage: 23.5E 11621 V 7500 DVB-S2
    Ch Name: Pyramid Stage Feed

    BBC Introducing Stage: 23.5E 11528 V 7500 DVB-S2
Ch Name: UKI 1486 BBC INT CIRCUIT H

    John Peel Stage: 23.5E 11648 V 7500 DVB-S2
    Ch Name:
    UKI 1486 JOHN PEEL

    Other Stage:
    23.5E 11630 V 7500 DVB-S2
    Ch Name: Other Stage Feed

    West Holts Stage: 23.5E 11639 V 7500 DVB-S2
Ch Name: West Holt Stage Feed

    Park Stage: 23.5E 11515 V 7500 DVB-S2
    Ch Name: UKI 1486

Have it all done now, and a Glasto bouquet set up too!

Thank you very much for all the info!

For anyone who has scanned all these channels in and is struggling with the setting up of a favs bouquet with a remote, Heres a fav bouquet.

rename the txt part to .tv

    ftp it to etc/enigma2.

It will now appear in your favourites list called Glass.
Always use Auto here & never an issue - 23e coming in without issue but no joy on the feeds today.

    weird

I am guessing that you are just trying to watch the channels that you scanned in yesterday. There is no reason that shouldnt work, I have had to do anthing since I scanned them in. The old IT cliche, have you tried turning the box off and on again at the rocker switch!

LOL this is weird, I've deleted all channels off the satelitte - rescanned it to get 300 channels, then scanned the above frequencies to get nothing!

    Time to power off :D

Picture starting to come through for me.

I imagine by the evening they'll be locked proper again for me.

Dish needs a tweak as I'm struggling with channels on 1w too.

If you are using USALS you can manually "tweak" the dish by changing the Long and Lat values slightly.

    Many thanks

    Oh, thanks for that.

Have it loaded and the feeds seem to be working, one is pixellating a bit, but overall, seems fine.

you probably need to do the same as Chris and amend your long & lat to compensate as your dish might be out slightly

Feeds for me went over 70% after 9.

Barkie is right I just punched my address into Google and they gave me the correct settings.

    I was off massively

The test cards are on again. A lot weaker with me today, 7.5 to 9 dB.

Even with the correct address, you can temporarily correct outside of what it should be to reflect how much your dish is out without going to the dish by amending lat/long satellite position to compensate. Particularly the longitude.

Your complete arc may suffer, but sure you can always change it back. Its a lazy fix that works.....

Worked perfectly for The Courteeners, Disclosure seem to have broke it on me - and I was looking forward to the Stone Roses!

Are you still picking up a good signal?

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,064 ✭✭✭✭dxhound2005

    Yes, still over 10 dB. I have a 1.1 m dish.

    I've a 1m in North East England.

Flawless for Courteeners, now its just glitching on me.

Not to worry though, I enjoyed what I caught :)

Since around an hour ago there is only one channel called HD1. It is a different modulation which cannot be decoded on the Dr HD receiver but clears on the TBS 5925 computer USB receiver. Recorded footage.

    Signal down to 9.5 dB.

Its a 4:2:2 feed so you will need to use webif and Potplayer on a high CPU PC to view.

And how is it now ? Its coming up as a 4:2:2. Its that Planar output codec which is processor hungry - YV12bit H264.

It seems that they are using this feed for the live output for BBC4 at night. Jake Bugg is on now on BBC4. So they dropped the use of 4:2:2 during the day during the non live broadcasts. Yes, it makes no sense..... other than the possibility that they dont have many 4:2:2 monitors on site!
