    Hi,
        Is it possible to purchase an internet service that makes use of the core fiber network at a cost under 30K per year?

        When our business looks at the http://fibrerollout.ie/where-and-when/ map for our location, there is apparently "Core Fiber Network" running past the entrance of the industrial campus (20 yards from the building at most) employing 300 people that currently make do with a licensed symmetric wireless solution. The core network is meant to serve multinationals and large businesses according to the description.

    Does this count as a suitable link for Symmetrical Ethernet Fibre Access as described in http://www.openeir.ie/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=962?

        Our account manager keeps telling us to wait for the newly installed FTTC fiber cabinet to be ready; situated about a kilometer away, and so probably will be inferior to the wireless.

        I've looked at the likes of
    https://business.eir.ie/product/next-generation-connectivity/#tab-3
    but they are so vague and fluffy with no information about timelines and coverage requirements, certainly not expected cost;

        Perhaps one of the Eircom marketing fliers that we get in the post / papers could take half a page to clearly tell business management of Eircom's higher level internet packages that are available to them.
    If we don't know about them then we're unlikely to ask the questions that would lead to purchase.
    Thanks,

    Hi ressem,

    I'm sorry to hear you are not able to avail of the Fibre service at present, the above link would advise of updates in your area.

    The best advice I can offer is to contact the support team for the alternative packages on 1800 255 255 or your account manager can also provide all information on what's available to you and explain the packages.

    I'll pass your feedback onto the relevant team.

    Thanks

    Tracey
