Leaving at the end of fixed term lease - do I need to give notice?

Hi all, My lease (initial 12-month) ends near the end of June. I have found somewhere else to live and would like to move out at that time. Am I looking at any sort of penalty if I advise the Estate Agent today/tomorrow? (It will be less than 30 days notice - more like 20/21). Thanks.
