Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jealous Dog

So, just a bit of background. We have two dogs and three cats. We've never had any problems with any of them, they all get along very well. However, we recently got a new kitten and it seems as though the older of our two dogs is getting a bit jealous (if it's possible for dog's to feel that emotion!). He gets very restless and whiney whenever I play with the kitten or give her any attention, he stares at her very intently a lot of the time and he has even snapped at her a few times. The kitten isn't particularly frightened of him, but I'm a little worried that he might hurt her. I've never encountered this problem with him before. As I said, all the animals get along very well. It's only since the introduction of the new arrival that he has gotten like this.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to deal with this or if there are any tips on helping him to adapt to having a new individual in the house.
