    Hi all

We are currently trying to buy a property and the man that is aelling it will sell privately. How do we go about this ? He has purchased another property to live closer to a family member and will sell his house to us. The property needs nothing done to it. We are approved for a mortgage. What do we do now ? Thank you

Proceed as normal - your solicitor contacts his solicitor.

thats how i bought my house. You just give his solicitors name to you solicitor and they sort everything else out. In fact it was a lot easier not having to deal with estate agents and the lady selling our house let us pop in every now and then to take measurements etc

As above deal through your solicitors but make sure and get a survey done on the house even if it seems perfect
