Another identification thread

Just wondering if anybody can tell what this is? I thought it was rhubarb, but it doesn't have those purple stems. It's quite big: maybe a metre or so. Those purple flowers in the background are a different plant, but the leaves of this one have a kind of purple dot in the centre.

Looks like the leaves of a Mallow. They can grow pretty big, I've one at the moment well over 2 foot tall.
