Fight playing out like the brandao fight for Ortega, he's going to be down two again.

And 8/15 in running, guida is 11/8 basically to not get finished here wins 2-1 rds if he survives.

Wow, I kept shouting at Ortega to take him down and he pulls that off! Fair play to him, he had faith in his striking and stuck to his guns and was richly rewarded for it.

Haha was thinking similar, he just wouldn't listen and then he comes out with that.

If a Gracie BJJ black belt wants to stand-up and use his ground game as a last resort, that's a really bold strategy.

Hope Green gets the head knocked clean off him purely for the fact he has a head tattoo. Who the hell thinks a head tattoo is a good idea?

Bad bad man dustin poirier couldnt be happier for him legend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,532 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Poirier is an animal at 155! Hope he gets a big fight next, he fully deserves one, could be a top 5 guy in that division soon.

Wouldn't say no to a McGregor rematch, the Diamond is a different fighter now at this weight and could cause him problems.

I may be misremembering( is that a word) but wasn't Duffy beat quite handily I don't remember it being close at all

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,269 ✭✭✭Gamebred

Blame the weight all ya want but it shows the level Conor is on DP is 8-1 only loss to McGregor, same with Holloway 2 of them have done brilliant since their losses its great to see them bounce back.

Speaks volumes about Duffy that he went the distance with Poirier, he's an ice cold killer these days.

It was a one sided fight alright!

No it wasn't a one sided fight really, Duffy busted Poiriers nose and had a submission locked in in the last few seconds but the bell rang.
