    She is, allegedly, a journalist. She should respond to reason, and the fact that A) she considers 'tens of races' to constitute a significant amount of experience (which many would dispute), B) the aforementioned poster may well be saying something quite different to what she supposes, and C) one of the phrases was verbal and uttered by a bystander, and therefore cannot be indicative of anything other than a personal viewpoint (though it may indicate a societal view), should be enough to convince her that maybe, just maybe, she was making a large mountain out of a very small molehill.

    Yep, heaven forbid that they might have thinking brains as well as running legs :cool: In fairness, the issue was running related & people had opinions on it. No harm done to anyone.

    I was never so happy to see them this year. Just when we thought they weren't out! Ran straight through the spray, got soaked to the skin, and was still dry by the time we finished! Hot day slowed us down a bit. But I really enjoyed it this year, despite the lewd and sexist undertones to the day :rolleyes:
