    I need to open a bank account to avail of my Susi grant. I'm doing my leaving cert this year so do I get a 2nd level or 3rd level  current account?

    Thanks for contacting us and welcome to Boards.ie, as you are in secondary school you would be eligible to open a 2nd level account. With this account our ATM’s will allow you to top up your mobile phone, check your balance and order statements to see how much money you have in your account. We’ll also pay the annual Government Stamp Duty on your Bank of Ireland ATM card. If you are aged 16 years old or over you are eligible to apply for a Bank of Ireland Visa Debit card. You will also receive a new backpack, just for opening!
