Mixture of clothes anything from jackets to hair accessories no limit really. I'm based in the city centre so it would need to stand out or compete with the other shops in town. The prices are very reasonable and hopefully it can do well

There's already a Klassy Kids clothes shop in Galway so you would want to check you are not infringing anything of theirs.

I hate names that use a wrong spelling in an attempt to sound quirky or interesting, it's tacky imo.

Who's your target market, is the clothing expensive, cheap or midrange? Will you be stocking anything other than clothes, providing any other services etc that should be represented by the name?

Another very important factor is whether the .ie is available.

One thing to consider is if you are only ever going to have on shop or if you would be planning to grow to expand / franchise later on, even into different segments.

Including a distinctive element to of the name can help and the easiest way to to the is your name or location for example.

For example if you name was Marie Murphy from Mirah. Pich an elemeny an build the brand around it
    • Marie, Teen Fashion - Marie, First Step Shoes - Marie, Haute Couture
    • Murphy, Teen Fashion - Murphy, First Step Shoes - Murphy, Haute Couture
    • Mirah, Teen Fashion - Mirah, First Step Shoes - Mirah, Haute Couture

Or or could be the name of your Cat
    • Puddles, Teen Fashion - Puddles, First Step Shoes - Puddles, Haute Couture

Long names, trendy names, cute names all have their place, but can be difficult in logos and sticking in people memories. Think big even if you are starting small. Look at hoe the big companies manage their name and brand and take some lessons from that. Aspire to be great :-)

    Best of Luck.

    Agreed

We actually have a game when driving thru country towns to see who can spot the hairdressers called Krazy Kuts and all the other cringe worthy names.

It's a bit like the stag and hen parties with all their ZANY tee shirts on. Its be done so many times it's not quirky or cool it's just a bit tragic looking
