Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Duffy and one other imo, I'd pick Keogh.

Ya I think we should play center backs versus Sweden actually I'd go as far to say it is very important we do

I would go for O'Shea and Keogh but I wouldn't have a problem with Clark taking a spot.

O'Shea will start the game, thats pretty much a foregone conclusion imo but who will his partner be.... survey says...Clark

That said personally I think the poll (and I also voted for O'Shea and Clark) will prove incorrect and it'll most likely be Keogh beside him.

Should play - Clark and Keogh
Will play - O' Shea and Keogh, 100%

    How old is John O'Shea???

    should be delaney

While he's good at holding his position, I think he'd prefer to be in the bar with the other FAI officials.

    O'Shea and Keogh for me.

Clark is too error prone, doesnt do well under pressure.

Duffy, too inexperienced. We saw that in the lack of concentration he had towards the end of the dutch game that cost us a goal.

Keogh has an error in him as well and saw him be very poor in club games under pressure. I'd go O Shea and wouldn't mind either Clark or Duffy

This poll was prompted by the second question here:

    http://www.irishexaminer.com/euro2016/euro2016-analysis/ireland-6-key-questions-ahead-of-euro-2016-403299.html

Thanks to everyone for taking part so far - plenty of time still to make your pick

In euro 2012 we relied on our centre back to score our only goal ! So the goal threat matters.
Didn't Duffy and Clark (and Ward) all score in recent friendlies, as well as JOSH in Gelsenkirchen.
We all remember Gary Breen's goal in 2002 too.

Realistically we will rely on set-pieces, Brady's delivery, and our height.

Spot on if we get points more than likely it'll be through set pieces

    Duffy is an interesting one.

He didn't play in the qualifiers so probably won't start, but he's a mountain of a man.

A lot of European teams won't like seeing him coming up for corners.

Brain Kerr in yesterday's Indo was very strong in his opinion that Clark should play, and he mentioned how well he did against Ibrahimovic when we drew 0-0 with them in Sweden during Trap's last campaign
