7.5t truck hire Galway

    Looking to hire a 7.5t truck (have C1 license) for weekend of 25th June.

    Need truck and insurance

    Anyone know anyone in Galway vicinity that does such hire. Easy to get a van etc but finding it harder to get above.

    Because of the specialist nature of what you're looking for I don't think you'll find one based in the west. Vanrentals.ie have Izuzus that you can drive on a car licence it seems.

    Would a luton body van be enough? A truck may be hard to get because of the licenses and certs you need to drive one. There's a place in Athenry that rents them. Higgins garage/west link I think they're called.

    Afraid Luton isn't big enough. I have the licence, its just getting the hire with insurance thats proving difficult!

    I was looking for self drive truck hire last January, and the only place that I could find was down in limerick on the dock rd. They rent trucks, but didn't have one available when I needed it, so can't tell you the cost, but iicr they do provided insurance.
