Hi, so I've never been someone who understood the whole situation with college modules so any help would be appreciated.

Currently I have just finished my 2nd year in college, but I basically gave up two months in. Stupidly enough the reason I stopped going wasn't because I didn't enjoy the course material (Computing) but rather because all the people in my course were completely different to me, I didn't really make friends and I was the youngest in the course by I'd say 6 years. This automatically resulted in me failing all 12 modules as I didn't officially drop out.

I know completely foolish of me to stop going over this reason as computing is the only thing I'd have an interest in.

I'm extremely motivated to return to college repeat the full year and have even done my own study at home as of recent, but I just have a few queries about repeating.

-Am I guaranteed a place in the course to repeat?
-Can I repeat this year in it's entirety?
-Will the cost of repeating be the same as every year? Around €3000
-Will the modules be marked as full 100% or 40%?
-How do I go about applying to repeat the entire year?

If you have the money you can repeat the year fully and your grades aren't capped. As far as I know if you're repeating the year then you can get a place regardless of course numbers. Go to student admin and they'll fill you in on the rest.

Also next year get involved in some of the college's clubs and societies where you can socialise with others who would be similar in age and interests.

Also you should engage with the mature students. You might find common areas of interest and find that they would be a good resource to you on the programme.
