So I've two PSUs one of which I need to use in the new build. The main thing I'm going for is silence but I'm also wondering which is going to be cheaper on juice in 24/7 operation and by how much? Choices are

A very old but stalwart 1000W Coolermaster Silent Pro M1000 - Bronze 80 plus

Or a brand new Silverstone 600W SFX - Gold 80 Plus

Sorry - some mild overclocking on air - single GPU R9 290 at the moment but that will be changed to a 1070 ASAP

Was gonna say 600 myself.

With the 1070 it will have alot less work to do.
