how to extract charts (with source files) from powerpoint

Hi guys, hope you're all well. I have received a Powerpoint file which contains charts which I need to edit. I need to edit all 35 of these charts. I would much prefer to have all the charts in excel file(s), so that I can simply edit them and drop them back into the file. Any ideas how I can do this? many thanks, Ed
