    Hi Guys, was listening to Pat Kenny this morn and was a lady on that got ripped off buying euro tickets that never arrived. She used a Visa debit and seemed to have no comeback.

    Is there a different level of protection from my Visa debit vs my BOI MasterCard?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie

    With all of our cards, either Visa Debit or Credit Cards, a transaction dispute can be raised on each card type. As each dispute is investigated on a case to case basis, it's difficult to comment on a possible outcome of a particular case. Multiple factors can be involved. 

    When using your cards, we would always recommend caution and advise purchasing with reputable third parties only.
