I've lived central east and it was certainly not "out country" there, but I understand that the north is much more liberal. How liberal is liberal? I'm not a huge fan of PDA but a little is fine. Really I'm talking about healthy, "out" gay relationships, not sex saunas or gay bars. I don't spend much time in gay-centric locations but like to be able to find dates, have "out" relationships without fear essentially.
