Runners for long walks?

Hiya,

I like to go for long walks on flat ground (20km+) and I need a new pair of runners. I don't really have huge budget. I popped into Elverys recently and I am not sure if I was more shocked by the prices or the colours!

I currently have a pair of Asics but I think the bounce has gone out of them.

Any recommendations would be good.

I got Nike runners last year from Sports Direct very similar to the ones linked below, I do a good bit of walking in them and love them, very comfortable, good bounce to them, good price and surprisingly waterproof. I got caught in a very bad shower a couple of weeks ago in them and expected my socks to be drenched, they were perfectly dry.
