Hello all! Please ensure that you are posting a new thread or question in the appropriate forum. The Feedback forum is overwhelmed with questions that are having to be moved elsewhere. If you need help to verify your account contact hello@boards.ie
Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

As we had a similar situation for the World Cup in 2014, we've decided to open up the forum, this is something I pointed out in this years Feedback thread and despite some inital concerns back in 2014, the forum didnt fall to pieces as the "n00bs" were given access. Basically, see the below regarding cards and bans, its the same procedure we used during the World Cup in 2014 and it served us well.

The forum is now open to everyone to use, except currently banned Soccer users, we've decided to change the totting up process for yellow cards and bans.

Its simple really, for all you new guys/girls in here, usual Boards.ie rules apply on abuse, trolling, streams etc etc. I would also like to draw your attention to the regular Soccer Forum charter in order to familiarise yourself with the forum policies as some of the rules are quite different to other forums on the site.

For all the new guys here, if you violate these rules you'll be issued a Yellow card or a Red card for more serious breaches, for the length of the Euros, if you pick up 2 yellows or 1 Red, you'll be banned for a month (the length of the Euros).

For the regular users here, same rules apply to you but if you have cards on your record they will NOT be totted up for the duration of the World Cup and will not count to any future ban after the Euros, however, if a user currently has a poor record in the Soccer Forum, at the Mod's discretion, the ban length may be increased under the above 2 yellow/1 red ban system.

For the duration of the Euros the Soccer Charter is superceded by this temporary charter but the rules of the Socer Charter still apply which can be seen here for further reference : http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056320446

Thanks to Dav for setting this up and allowing anyone who wants to use the Soccer Forum during the Euros, a chance to do so as Ireland are in it this year, it should see an increase in users wanting to discuss the Euros.

    Enjoy.

Forum is now only accessible to those who had prior access, the regular charter is now back in effect.
