Hopefully they put some of the older Elder Scrolls games on sale, don't want to pay 25 euro for an old game..

So, I'm thinking there's a couple of things I'd like to get, the Steamworld Heist DLC is probably top of the list, as I'm just about finished that and need a fix, incredible game. Then probably Shrouded in Sanity if there's a decent enough discount:

And SOMA has been on my wishlist for ages, so maybe that. I don't know, it depends.

Usually on the days leading up to the Steam sale I find myself researching games I might like, checking out reviews , watching Let's Plays etc.
I do all my homework, making sure I'm ready to pull the trigger on flash sales.
It was also great for building up the hype and getting me excited.

Now I don't bother to research. I have all week to mull over a game. Yes, I'll probably spend less and choose games more carefully. But I really do miss that excitement.

I'm hoping for a 75% discount on the Vive.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with hoping, is there?

A little over 6 hours to go! I'm like a kid at Christmas! :D

There were a lot of new bundles created on steamdb over the last day or so. Presumably a lot of these will be discounted further during the Steam sale. If you click on the globe icon you can see the bundle in Steam.

I'm having problems signing into my steam account since I set it up at the weekend. Reset password 2 times and won't let me get past the 'robot' word thing. My email address has been confirmed and everything so I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong here.

I'm on my phones browser not my computer. Would that make any kind of difference?

The Telltale games bundle is now dynamically priced base on the current Telltale games you own. Hopefully this will get reduced by a fair bit: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/383/

Castle Crashers and Don't Starve have both had heavy discounts on them 75%+.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,944 ✭✭✭✭Links234

Yeah, trying to view the store page for Party Hard so I can buy it, and it's just showing me a black screen. This is irritating. And I don't know what I expected, because it's the same thing that constantly happens.

The sale doesn't actually start until around 7pm as far as i'm concerned.

Trying to get on at 6 is just madness. The prices aren't right, nothing loads, you can't check out. Madness.

I've about 40 games on my wishlist, a good few are 75% off but only one with a higher discount - Broken Age is €4.59 at 80% off.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,734 ✭✭✭J_E

Ehh, nothing grabbing me so far, let's see how it goes on.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,944 ✭✭✭✭Links234

Steamworld Heist is 25% off, thoroughly recommend it. It's like XCom meets Worms on the set of Firefly.

Gonna grab the DLC for it, when it lets me.

Skyrim legendary edition for 25 quid (58% off) aint bad. Cheap way to get the remastered edition in Oct.

Just had a look through my wishlist.

Darkest Dungeon is 40% off (€13.79). Looks like the best deal for me - that has been on my wishlist for a while now.

Soma half price, Dying Light half price, Undertale 30% off.

Only 20% off Hyperlight Drifter, a miserable 10% off Salt and Sanctuary and nothing off Stephen's Sausage Roll or Hitman.

For legendary? I've never seen it that low but I'm gonna hang on for now.
Only thing is with the remaster in the next few months, I don't see it dropping too much due to chumps like me who never bought it wanting an updated version :D

    It's usually 7.99 every sale.

Did you set up 2FA? You might need to input the auth code from the Steam Client on your phone for example.

Edit: did u see it for 29.99? It's 41.99 now same as yesterday.
