They are popular in the UK. I'd go for a second hand Beretta or Browning/Winchester. Malcolm Graham in Monaghan has Stoegar semi autos that are new and great value he also has a number of second hand semis.

Would you believe it I messaged him this morning for a price on a Benelli. Looking for a 30inch barrel in LEFT HAND action so beretta is out as to my knowledge they don't do one.

Anyone have one of these guns or know anyone that has one??
    What are they like?
Thinking of buying one as I am very limited to whats available in a Left Hand Semi Auto with 30 inch barrels.
Looks like you get a lot of gun for the price.

Yes I own the Escort MPA 7+1, on a restricted license. Very good value for the money. Have a look on YouTube at some of the videos there, 1000 shot shoot takes some beating.

I use it for Gallery Rifle target shooting in the UK.

I found the trigger pull weight very heavy, far too much for my kind of shooting. I have just changed out the trigger spring for another with less 'Spring' in it. I will try it out over the weekend to see how much better it is.
Also I bought another magazine spring to have cut down, to reduce the tension when loading my cartridges into the mag.

A good photo of the empty cartridge ejecting and another on the lifter ready to get chambered, Taken by JC.
