    Based on past experience, I would imagine that would be day 1 of training.

    I think 204 to 248 went into clearance

    Does anybody know how long it will take for the department of justice to contact us after handing in your reference? I reluctant to hand in my notice until I see my start date in writing.

    No idea I emailed across my references which were civil service ones so I expect will be satisfactory. I was going to call them on monday for a confirmed timetable

    Movement at last. Plenty of overtime on the go at the moment. In Terminal 2 since last week.

    The date will be the start of training, 5 weeks of classroom followed by 4 weeks on the job.

    There is a batch in clearance at the moment. Id imagine PAS would have told you if you were gone to clearance? Where did you place in the order of merit?

    i am early 300 on the order if merit.

    You could try PAS but i think the clearances come back in batches. Worth checking in with them to see what numbers are gone for clearances ect

    I got a call 3 weeks ago saying I passed security clearance and To send in my references. Next day my current employer got the phone call asking about me. The following week I got a call from DOJ saying there's still people in clearance so no time for training is giving yet but they will let me know once everyone's through clearance. Said it could be soon,could be later. Also got the letter the same week from public jobs. Just a waiting game now.

    Sounds promising. Public Jobs had told me training could be start/mid March but not confirmed. I take it your current employer knows you will be resigning soon 🙈. By looking through previous posts they give about 4 weeks notice on training. Do DOJ send a job offer with the training dates, I was just told I would hear from them about my assignment. Thanks again for the reply
