Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What did he do? I missed a couple of mins earlier.

Coach moved under the dropping ball to put a hand on it and ensure, as another individual had touched it, England couldn't take a quick throw.

Should be pulled up on it and warned.

He, like every person from the Southern Hemisphere, have been well and truly shown up and they should all hang their heads in shame. Probably should consider packing the entire thing in down there.

Then pull up the fella who called him 'a little bollix' a few posts up from me too so

(fwiw I don't think that rule should apply to Brown, Hartley and Delon Armitage :pac:)

Do not backseat mod. You got an on-thread warning, not an infraction. Get over it.

Another missed tackle from Browne. Goode has to get a look in for the next test unless there's an injury I'm unaware of. After the season he has had he needs to be in the team anyway.

I would be interested to hear English "I hate Goode he is Rubbish" Lurker's opinion on that

Why have Australia not subbed Sio?

He can't post. He's driving and trying to deal with everyone else on the wrong side of the road.

English pack in good spirits by the sounds of things

Game over now anyway. England's superior physicality coming to the fore now.
The disallowed try for obstruction which was seriously debatable IMO was the turning point in the game.

Super Hooper as captain now, comeback is on

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

That was class from Hooper. Winger-esque :pac:

If a team loses a game based on a debatable refereeing decision that early in the game (which I think was the right decision btw) then they don't deserve to win it at all. England have been stronger, smarter and more accurate.

Great try there, but from the touchline I can't see Foley getting the kick. His inaccuracies off the tee have been costly.

Lovely pass from Foley in the lead up.

    Sarcasm?

Australian line-outs have been really poor but there's been very little in the way of a gap as well.

Game over if they convert this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Crucial turnover from Haskell. MOTM for me.

    Kuridrani butchered that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Talk of Kuidrani making a mistake is off I think. They couldn't go wide as the need the conversion and Foley needs the try in closer to the posts to get them.

This new winger has been doing clever stuff

Whenever Australia get moving England can't live with them. If only they could improve their discipline.

    So do I

Interestingly at half time the bookies had Wales at 3/1 but England are odds on to win this one. They obviously have no idea but I wonder what they think makes such a big difference

Jones starting Farrell proving to be the right call. Australia missed 7 points from the tee, England are 100% from the tee.

I think England have this. They've reacted well to a poor start.

Best English side since the heights of the Woodward era. Fair plsy for going for a try and not the one off the ruck clock countdown.

Test 2 should be a hum dinger

I think if Australia sort out their discipline they'll still win this series. IMO they played better rugby today, they just need to sort out their work at the breakdown and tweak the scrum.
