Hi lads, just looking for a bit of help with wiring the pyronix deltabell up to a hkc 1070, had to change out my hkc bellbox as it was knackered and decided to go with the pyronix, connections and settings are slightly different and wanted to know I'm right before taking a stab at it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    No problem

    Panel...... Bell
    Bell +....... Aux +
    Bell -......... Trigger (Bell -)
    Bell Hold Off..... Tamper (Top)
    Tamper Return... Tamper
    Strobe -...... Strobe
    Aux -........... Aux -

Use relevant resistor in series with tampertamper return.

Thanks kook kid for the quick reply

but what about the backlight disable option and
Eng hold ? are they an option when it's connected to a hkc panel ? And are the jumpers just changing triggers from - to + ?

The jumpers should be set to negative trigger so no need to change anything.
No need to connect anything to disable back light..

    Hi there lads.

I'm replacing my old hkc bell box with 2 pyronix delta bell boxes, i'm having a problem with connecting the 2 bell boxes to the HKC 10/70 panel. The bell boxes are sounding off constantly. I have tried connecting the 2 box tampers in series using 1 resistor. Do i neeed to use 2 resistors or does anyone have a diagram or instructions on how to do this correctly.

    Much Appreciated, Thanks Pat.

    Hi Altor.

    Thanks for the reply.

From Bell hold off in panel I used 1 4K7 resistor going out to the top Tamper in bellbox 1.

I looped the 2 bottom tampers out in bellbox 1 & Bellbox 2.

I ran from the top tamper in bellbox 2 back to the Tamper return in the Panel!!

Maybe i should have used 2 resistors?

    Panel__________________Bellbox 1 & 2________Colour Used

    Bell hold off----------------Tamper Top----------------Yellow

    Tamper Return-------------Tamper---------------------Blue

    Ext Bell Minus--------------Bell------------------------White

    Ext Bell Plus----------------12 Volt Plus---------------Red

    Strobe Minus---------------STB------------------------Green

    Aux Minus------------------12 Volt Minus--------------Black

Hope you can work out my explanation or maybe theres an easier way for it to be done. Thanks again. Pat

Have you checked continuity with resistor removed on the bells?
