Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

Have recently been looking at getting into some calisthenics with the good weather and some advice from a trainer / mate.

I know there is some equipment in parks in cabinteely / Lucan but does anyone know of anything similar around Blanchardstown / Castleknock / Phoenix Park?

Would be great if someone could point me in right direction.

    Thanks

There is Calisthenics stuff in Malahide Castle on the 5KM track in the park. I know it isn't as close as you would like but that is the only one I have seen so far.

I do Calisthenics at home I got the pullup mate bar (http://pullupmate.co.uk/) its the best piece of equipment I have bought in a long time.

I also use madbarz app. Plenty of body weight exercises in the app and it is really good as it times each exercise and also the rest in between them and keeps track of your progress. I have done the gym thing in the past but doing calisthenics only has made me much stronger that any gym program i have done. Also you can do it when or where ever you want really.

There is a training area in Hartstown near the Astroturf Pitches.

Think it has a pull up bar.
