Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This was on the Journal this morning,an interview with one of the Russian ringleaders.

That Russian ringleader sounds all honourable and an old school fist fighter - what I saw was as a lot of kicking on the injured and defenceless not too mention charging regular English fans that could easily led to Heysel type situation , with people getting crushed .
If gangs want to have one on one fights , so be it , but call it for what it is.

    So...

Uefa have issues a suspended warning to russia only.

Looks like the evidence they got has brought them to a conclusion that Russia are more guilty than england unless they will issue the same suspension warning to England later during the day

Because it happened inside the ground, where the Russians were the only ones guilty of doing anything.

But i thought it was England fault that it happened inside the ground as per what some people here think?

Then you thought wrong. Point out one poster that claimed the stadium trouble was the fault of the English

Yes, good article, but if you move away from the numbskulls then you are then an easy target for locals. As much of the video footage shows, people walking down the wrong street at the the wrong time were being assaulted, including one old French guy carrying his shopping. That was my experience of Marseille in '98. England and Russia should never have been playing there ...

Apparently that's what this guy did.

The French court is seeking sentences for them. There is no way they've been caught, put in front of a judge and sentenced in a matter of days.

    No Russians caught though.

Little mention of the Frenchman given a 12 month sentence today either.

    Odd that.

Reports that police have gone from non-existent to over zealous in Lille today.
