Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That might be the best bit of play we've seen from Russia all game.

Sterling is doing more than Kane.

Get Sturridge on for Kane IMO. He and Sterling have a natural chemistry.

    Dier. :pac:

That's the second time in 5 minutes you can hear Steve McManaman scream "Aaaaccgggghhhh" on ESPN when Sterling does a fupp up.

    Sterling continuing on his form.

This is a big step up for him. He has no CL experience. People need to remember this. Tournament football is very different to PL football.

At least Wales most expensive player ever plays like a superstar.

Following on from my post above, Bale has buckets loads of experience at the top level of the game. Kane hasn't. It is going to take time for him to adapt.

Joe Hart struggling with that goal kick. Maybe Harry Kane should take them.

    Get Sterling off FFS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Get Vardy on now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 848 ✭✭✭Superhorse

The finishing is poor from both teams. Hodgson simply has to get Sturridge or Vardy on.

Would do it just to hear the roars of Keith

Ah come on, he's just having a bad game.

Wales will be sitting back in their hotel with 3 points and feeling quite happy looking at this.

England really lacking that midfielder that can unlock the door. Someone like a Modric or Coutinho. Then again they haven't had one since Gascoigne in fairness.

My post was referring to Sterling not Kane and I I think it is stupid that Kane is taking corners which is a waste of his talents.

England's set pieces are shocking, goal kicks included.

    Scholes had his moments.......................

Ah lads quit it with the Kane business.

International football is no longer the level you think it is. This will go down as a game that England can take nothing from performance wise given they're playing a side that's not only poor but can barely get 11 fit players at the minute.

Wilshere could come on for them in fairness.

Said it earlier in the other thread. Huge pressure on England if they don't get a result tonight

I'd fancy Wales to rub salt in the wounds if it's the case

England need a change asap. Gone very stale.

They had Scholes and stuck him out on the wing.

Neither of these teams will be getting anyway near the final on this evidence.

I'd be thinking more Kane off than Rooney. He's been surprisingly poor.

Even Kane's movement is poor tonight. Sometimes it's just not your night, how has there not been a change yet

Not that you'd tell by some of the comments on here. Nice to see someone else noticing though. If I'd posted that, I'd be accused of bias!

    England have no leaders there.

Look like the gi's in apocalypse now when the bridge kept getting blown up.

Have to say every match thus far has been very entertaining.

This is where Hodgson is shown up as a poor manager.

Big decisions need to be made here and he's not making those decisions.

Compare that to Deschamps last night.

I know it's because he's not playing where he should be but Alli has been poor
