    Hello.

I deleted the thread in question because it was a disclosure of an actual interview question, and this is something that is not permitted in the Emergency Services forums. Set interview questions are the intellectual property of the prospective employer, and such IP is subject to copyright law. To this end, our Charter states: "No requesting, offering or quoting copyrighted material in any form".

    Greetings Shield,

    Thanks for your reply.
Apologies, as I was not aware that I was breaching the rules.
I still see that I have not breached the rules.
    As no company was mentioned.
and the question is fairly generic. Also I can not see how any company could lay claim to copyright over such a question.

There were other questions directly related to the business, which I would not request help for.
I was looking to see which variations could be used to answer.
I have my own answers and was wishing to compare thoughts on how to answer a generic question.
Perhaps some people use the STAR system to answer questions for example

I have always abide by the rules of the site since its inception.
Again apologies if you percieve that I have broken them.

    Kind regards
    Silverski

    Hi again.

Can you clarify whether the interview you refer to was for a position based in the Republic of Ireland? Was the interview held in Ireland? Is it in any way related to Ireland?

    Greetings Shield,

Nope, this question was for a job off shore,, not based in ireland. Nor conducted on Irish soil.

That's where the confusion is then. We rarely get people from outside Ireland asking for advice on interviews that are in no way connected with here.

Let me talk to some of our legal specialists, and I'll see if it's safe to undelete the thread in question.

    Thanks for your replies.
