No luck with ivy's

Can anyone tell me what the problem is with this ivy. I've lost 2 branches already.

The main problem is that ivy is not a house plant, even though stores sell it as one. If you put it in a large tub (that pot is far too small for the amount of growth) and put it outside you may have more success. Or you could plant it directly in the garden, but it is vigorous, suggest you do not put it beside the house.
