Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great game, IMO. Chances on both sides, dodgy defences, as expected

Boateng for me the best defender in the world

Half time coming at the wrong time for Ukraine.

You do know if he hadn't given the ball away needlessly there'd have never been a clearance to make?

Great half of football or at least hugely entertaining.

Ukraine not out of it by a long shot.

Great game, Germany were impressive for the first 30 minutes but Ukraine have really come back into it well now.

Draxler and Kroos have been brilliant, Ozil and Muller poor.

The Germans are riding their luck at the moment...

    Will they push on guys??

Dammit housemate is home, he'll ruin the next 45 mins with his zero knowledge and when he's stuck for something to say he'll say rugby is a better game anyway.

Think I'll watch it on my laptop in my room

  • Registered Users Posts: 124 ✭✭speckled_park

    Good game, hope Ukraine score

Bloody hell, the highlights really show how well Boateng did there to keep that shot out.

Hopefully the Ukraine come racing out of the blocks for the 2nd half, would love them to get an early goal.

I understand the logic of TV3 having 200 adverts every half time....................but my god it is soooooooooo bloody annoying!
Although in fairness, it beats the "punditry" !

    Catch 22!!

On another note, there hasn't been any outstanding adverts related to the Euros this year

Nothing really wrong with their pundits tonight, Souness is very good, but you can't judge them really if there's just ads on.

Yeah, the anchoror, Tommy Martin, is very irritating though. Always trying too hard to make a silly joke. No hard questions, just obvious questions with obvious answers!
You rarely hear a good debate on their Champ League programmes, and this is no different so far.

Shevchenko looks like he could still do a job, they should allow the assistant manager to be a 24th member of the squad.

Ukraine could bring on Shevchenko, we could bring on Roy, England could bring on Ray Lewington etc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭Hercule Poirot

I dont care what anyone says, Khedira has still got it

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,460 ✭✭✭Ishmael

Ozil not really doing much tonight, should be subbed at this point.

Roy takes Zlatan's leg off in the first 30 seconds, takes an early bath and is adored by the nation once again

Gotze, Muller poor enough, Ozil as well.

I don't think there is much disdain towards Roy anymore to be honest! In fact a lot of people love him more since he showed his sense of humour!

Germany dominating now. Ukraine need to change something.

Some effort by the keeper there!

I wasn't making fun of that, just being daft in general - I got over the Saipan thing years ago but I know some who still can't let it go

I can't help but think that if Ukraine score next that the game will level at 1-1 .
