Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the past two days there is no option to watch RTÉ 2 on the player. Is this just a technical difficulties or a rights issue because of the Euro's?

On both my smart TV and Android app I can only access RTÉ1 and News.

I found this as well, presumed it was because of the Euros.

You've been able to watch the Euros?

I've been watching the euros on the Rte player website with no issues at all

Haven't tried the RTE player for the games but 3player was working for me with the England match last night so I doubt it's a rights issue.

Just tried the android app there and it worked fine for me, the Euros highlights are on.

My experience of RTE player during large sporting events is that you are better off trying illegal streams.

I tried at home on laptop and mobile yesterday and Saturday. And now I'm in work and still no option for RTE2 stream?

Anyone know roughly how much data streaming the match to mobile would "cost"?

Or is that a bit of a how-long-is-a-piece-of-string question?

streaming a HD match for 90 minutes.
    I'd take a stab, approx 2GB

So not only do RTE benefit from an abhorant TV license, but they also block Rte player for browsers running ad blocking software.

Absolute shams. Nevermind the player will probably crash with traffic, they just boil my piss.

Sure an adblocker wouldn't block a built in ad anyway!
