Needs an engine bracket

    Hi All,

    I need to get a new car because the steering rack is gone in what Im using an d failed the NCT. Wouldn't be worth fixing , tried 2nd hand ones etc . I have seen a car that would suit my needs but it says on the ad that it needs an engine bracket.

    My query is this an expensive thing to get done ?

    By engine bracket they probably mean engine mount.
    An engine mount is what holds the engine bolted to the car chassis.

    Not very expensive but can be awkward to DIY fix.

    What car is it?

    Make/model please. Possible Renault I'd guess.
