ABS/ESP fault.

I've got a Puegeot 3008 HDI 1.6. 2010. The abs/esp parking brake faulty warning has came on a few weeks back. I changed front Pads as they needed doing and thought they caused error. I got a mate to check the fault on his laptop and it comes up as back passanger side abs sensor faulty. My question is would it be ok to get fixed in FastFit and can they clear the fault? My mate tried to reset it but it came back on straight away. I try and stay away from main dealer as its a trek away and usually pricier. My nct is booked for July and I needed sorted. Anyone had dealing with fastfit regarding warning lights I usually only use them for tyres.
    TIA.

I would be surprised if Fast Fit would touch the ABS, and i'm not sure that I would let them either!

If it is an ABS sensor or ring that is faulty, and i'm guessing sensor as the warning returns as soon as the code is cleared, then it is a pretty easy fix.

That is of course assuming that there is no other wiring issue on the ABS circuit.

Bring it to your local indie garage and see what they can do.

    Ken
