Ah **** it! Just enjoy the fact that lots of Irish weddings will be completely messed up tomorrow due to the 2pm kick off. I'd say there will be massive Bridezilla moments as the church is half empty or nobody has any interest in the photos because everyone wants to see the game. If we are beaten, the mood will be ****e. If we get a result, its ole ole ole and who gives a **** about Sorcha and her stupid wedding!

My friend lives in Wales and she and her Welsh husband had a wedding to attend last Saturday during Wales's first game. Luckily the bar in the hotel was showing it and every man in the place was crowded around watching it.

Fans taking it upon themselves to maintain our reputation of non troublemakers is far from being obsessed with being liked.

What's wrong with being liked anyway? I'm Irish, my general attitude is "its nice to be nice" most people I know have a similar outlook.

Wouldn't it be a much nicer stereotype for Irish people to have, fun loving revellers... Sounds a lot better than a bunch of drunken micks.

And the French guy on here, no ethnic group in the world is without fault, maybe take a look at your own people's behaviour before you obsessively criticise Irish people.

You actually come across as a bit of a hibernophobe...
    Who is the French guy?

Your diatribe is unfounded. You will now buttress your already fraudulent position.

Like a blind man in a brothel , you are just groping.

    Guessing.

Moving the goal posts , attacking the poster disregarding the content.

The default setting for a beaten debater.

You are in the intellectual deep end son and if you hang on too tight we will both drown.

Ah ya, good one. Not guessing at all, it's clear from your post history what you think of Irish people. You come across as a very unpleasant person through your posts, why waste my energy engaging in debate with a fanatical hibernophobe?

Hope you are enjoying your time in France.

It's going very well . Making a heap of twine. taking in the sights.
I am in a non football city so I'm away from hiberno cheerleaders like yourself and a fawning Irish media who are acting like a porn set fluffer trying to keep its cheese sandwich eating demographic hard.

Your boys will be home soon , leaving me to tour the country in blissful silence.

Admittedly my sex life has been like the Irish team trying to qualify , neither of us know why we are there, no passion, no communication , never make it passed the first stage, horrible dribbling and never a clean sheet .over too quickly and when it does end you know it will be 4 years till you try again

Born to New Zealand parents living in Ireland all my life . Until I recently moved to France , where coincidentally the Irish are acting the fool sans respect with carte Blanche from Irish journos.

Excellent! More great news from French soil for the Irish people! Good luck over there, I'm sure the French will be delighted to have a cheerful chap like yourself over there :D

Nehe, you are playing a blinder. The fact that the great unwashed are attacking you personally proves that you are hitting a raw nerve,

The COYBIG train is running out of stream.

Mystic Milner predicts a 3-1 win for Belgium. Deflated plastic hammers , incestuous relations being put on hold , a rise in domestic violence and a decrease in payday loans and cash for gold transactions.

There has been enough bad news globally (and even at the Euros) that a bit of good banter is more than welcome.

For all those in this thread who were saying that people in France would be sick of their antics and that they would be acting the maggots when there was no camera, here's a segment from a French TV show today on the Irish fans. Not mouthing they are the best fans in the world, but just asking, why are the Irish fans (North and South they mean) so popular.

pourquoi les supporters irlandais ont la cote

It's in French but very easy to follow so worth a look.

be in absolutely no doubt that these lads and ladies are doing their country a service and are creating a very good vibe towards Ireland that can only be a good thing.

I think Belgium will hammer us because we will feel defeated before we play, I think them having a lot of EPL players will mean that our players feel beaten in the tunnel.

Hopefully. Ireland with the albatross of inferiority around its neck.

And a three or four fold increase in smugness from your good self? I think you've still got space to grow into, particularly up top.

I hope you're wrong, but fear you may be right, regarding the result. Hopefully we'll get something worth douching in those enticing emerald green rivers of puke and piss for.

I hope Ireland win today. We have every chance. A lot of soccer players are over hyped - most are average - I expect this applies to the Belgian players as much as it does to the Irish.
And the bonus is that, if we do qualify to the next round, it means about 50,000 knackers will be out of the country for longer. That has to be a good thing.
