alternative number for customer care, getting cut off when I call 1749 for unlock cod

    Hi,

    I need an unlock code for my Samsung phone. I meet the criteria set out here - http://support.eir.ie/webapp.asp?query=unlocked

    and have my IMEI number

    but when I ring 1749 and select options 2, then 4, then 3 for unlocking the recording says hold for customer care but the call drops.

    Is there another number I can try?

    That number is for bill pay customers. I recently changed to pre-pay so cant access a customer care agent on that number.

    Apologies seablue, can you ring 1747 and select option 1 followed by option 0. This should direct you to an agent who will be able to assist with this.

    That worked. I called 1749, options 1, then 0. 

    Got my unlock code on the spot (was told in an eir shop that it could take a week).
