Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah Ben's won it sorry didn't see he had Stanislas to come in off the bench. What a way to win the title!

    Most trolliest fpl player:
    Gabiadinni
    Brunt
    Phillips
Walker (albeit not his fault he kept getting dropped)
    Zaha
    Tekkers
KDB (anytime I owned him he blanked and anytime I sold him he racked up huge scores)

There's loads more but it's early and I'm tired

Quick question....How long is FPL site left open if you wanted to look up how different players did etc ?

Have a feeling they remove all this season just gones stuff within a week or two....is that correct or not?

Usually stays live for quite a while but couldn't say how long. I always screengrab the league tables, gameweek history, etc (as I'm sad and like keeping an eye on stats year on year!)

I managed to beat Ville Ronka for only the 2nd time in 9 years, he had his worst ever finish at 22k, 8 years in a row in the top 5k before this year. Surprised by no Kane for the last couple of weeks although he had a very poor team value.

Jesus he has some record in the game!

How did you come by him?

Do we know who has the best average in the game (not on here) over the past 3 / 5 years? I'd say there's not many as good as Ville!

It was ville up to this year. FFS do a hall of fame based on your rankings over the years. Your most recent finish is weighted the most. Its the thing that's annoyed me most about this year that my hall of fame rank will plummet with a 48k finish. Not too bothered about missing out on money. I was just outside top 50 in the hall of fame and I was hoping to crack that and be on the first page of the rankings.

That's deadly but I didn't know about it at all... Must see if I can get added for the craic to see how I stack up. Some serious performers on the first page!

You just have to join one of their leagues. They have a live one that they update every few weeks and a career one that they do at the end of every season.

Hi folks, haven't been on here as much as last season as Twitter has taken over my life. Finished on 41k after a frustrating season. Enough to secure a 4th consecutive top 1% finish.
I'm setting up an invitational league next season where I'll invite 50 of the top managers from around the globe and hopefully secure a mega prize from a sponsor for the winner. There's huge interest in this on Twitter and I'd like to get some of the Boards folk in it as well as there are some top managers on here. If you are interested send me a private message with your team ID on Twitter @FPLGeneral or pop me an email: thefplgeneral@gmail.com. If you're one of the chosen 50, I'll send you the league pin in August.
    Enjoy the break all.

Are we using this as the transfer speculation thread?

If so, Siggy highly linked with Everton, if we somehow manage to hold Lukaku that could be a serious combo.

This year's overall FPL winner is apparently an Everton fans who refused to own any Liverpool players.

I know this will make some of your skin crawl as much is it does mine.

Will United have to play the 4th qualifying round along with Liverpool?
Edit: i don't think so Sevilla went straight throughto the group stages.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

Dgw 1 would have been nice for my GW1 BB plans.

United go through to group stages because the champions league winners have already qualified through their leagues (both Juventus & Real Madrid have already won their leagues)

I knew United were through to the group stages but I didn't realise that was why

    Source here http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=2444525.html

Sevila went through to group stages because Barca & Real won CL same year they won EL.
