    Hi,

I have a few steep banks around my garden. Currently they are a heaven for weeds and grass.

Some have a good soil cover and others 50/50 of soil and shale, and others are nearly 100% shale.

I was wondering if clover would be a thing to so on these banks. if so would what type should i get.

Hi Badger, if it were me I would spray the weeds and cover the areas in weed block and plant cotoneater and rambling roses.:)

We use red clover on a similar bank which works well and can be dug back into the soil if we ever decide to do something different there
