Hanging bikes from walls

What are the recommendations for hanging bikes from walls - hang from the front wheel with single hook or hang from frame with two hooks?

Setting up a room in the house and if hanging from the frame I can only get 2No. bikes on the walls, going with the wheel option I can get more ~ 5 (N+1!) and leave more space on the ground for turbo/rollers etc.

I hang mine from the front wheel.

I like the clugs idea, though I've never actually tried them. I like the fact that the wheel isn't actually load bearing. It does mean that floor space it taken up however.

Was a right faff fitting them. They're expensive. They don't come with the necessary fittings and screws. But since we put them up, I love them. Very neat. They do take up a lot of wallspace, but they free up the floor. And if you've a very nice (and clean) bike, then it makes for a cool piece of living art.

I use one of these, screwed into the rafters in the shed, hang bike by the rear wheel. Saves wall and floor space...

Maybe something like the below to hang the bikes from the solid wall (Good bike, winter bike, TT, CX, wife's bike)

Same as this except I hang by the nose of the saddle.

Oh btw, if anyone wants that rack they can take it off my hands for nothing in a couple of weeks when I move house (from D15).

It could do with some reinforcement to stop horizontal swaying.

Works fine and I use them for the MTBs and Road bikes without issue. As you say the rear wheel does mark the wall a bit but if you use a washable paint it should just wipe off!

Homestore and More in Blanchardstown Centre had these reduced by 50% to €3 when I was in there yesterday just in case anyone may be interested in picking up a few.

Lidl or Aldi had a good freestanding one before if they get them back again I don't know.

Not specifically hanging from the wall, very handy specially if you renting (no drilling) or have some dead space behind doors.
