Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't actually follow what was wrong with the bet. Something about a software glitch. However, how much do Boylesports pay on advertising?

This is the exact opposite, better to pay the €17k and fix their software rather than create the impression Boylesports bets (for whatever reason) sometimes do not pay out.

Palpable error. Bookies get out clause of everything. Good to see the Indo taking up the story though. Boylesports obviously don't have any advertising with them. Papers don't like touching stories that involve big bookies such as PP. Too much money to lose for them if they run a negative story.

    They are all related.
    (a) Croatia, Poland & Turkey all to win
    (b) Croatia, Poland & Turkey all to win to nil
    (c) Croatia, Poland & Turkey all to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

If (b) happens, then (a) happens and fair chance (c) happens,
If (a) happens then (b) is possible and fair chance (c) happens,
If (c) happens then (a) and most probably (b) happens.

Amazed that it was an online bet and it allowed the related bets.

Yeh not sure how the hell he could possible place it. System issue for sure.

But the absolute heartbreak for your man. Why did they give him anything at all? Guessing it was for the Croatia/Poland/Turk treble?

Fair chance, not guaranteed bets = bets not worth the paper they are written if that's the case. I'd get a good no.win no fee solicitor.

I would be surprised if any solicitor would touch this.

Gambling debts are NOT legally enforceable so would be wasting his time.
In this case, punter has nothing going for him apart from the fact the Boyles system allowed him place the bets in the 1st place which it shouldn't have done.
