Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

1-1 didn't last long. Great control, lucky enough finish

Get in! At least that one was onside.

City's movements are so good, so much more potent this season than in previous times.

George Hamilton seemed devestated about that City goal! Not usual for him to have such a bias commentary but it was like he was commentating on an Irish concession of a goal

    decent free kick

City unconvincing at the back. Wonder how they'll handle Barca when the opposition won't be giving them the ball back constantly

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Holy lord that pass from Bravo was stunning.

I think he was genuinely surprised the goal was given.

Bravo getting a bollocking from Pep!

PSG 1-0 down to Ludogorets after a nice free-kick.

Actually it wasn't as nice as I thought. The wall was a shambles.

Thank ****. Thought I was being paranoid. He's not very impartial.

nah, he continued with silent treatment for almost a minute after! Genuinely seemed disappointed they equalised!

I've written off those two games. We won't be getting anything from those two games.

Gonna go down as an own goal most likely.

    What a finish by Raheem.

An offside goal and a huge deflection. Not going to be our night.

    This is great.

Loads more goals in this game I'd say!

Celtic are rubbish but they have upped their game for this, great pace on the counter which they'll not be able to sustain one imagines.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    Hart would have saved that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Rodgers approach plus the atmosphere makes this a cracking game.

    2-2, Sterling

City were ruthless in punishing that loss of possession.

Typical Rodgers. 2-1 ahead and playing like chasing the game.

    Ridiculous defending

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

The diagonal run, the composure to cut back inside, the confidence of everything he did there is a player reborn.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

The difference in his finishing this year is ridiculous

Rodgers and poor defending rarely go together sure.

    :o

If they try and go toe to toe it wont end well.

Great game this, at this rate it'll end at 6-6!

Isn't George Hamilton a Rangers fan? Thought Arsenal & Rangers were his teams... Will look it up at HT.

Anyway, great game so far. Hopefully Celtic can keep this level of effort going and keep it interesting.

    Gone over to City now?

Understandable as Barca are losing....edit and Bayern

Barcelona a goal down now. Nice counter attack and finish by hazard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Ballsy play from Celtic. Rogic in particular.

    Barca are a goal down.

We've a buy back option in place for Thorgan Hazard.

Hes improved alot in the last 2 seasons with regular football so I'd take him back over willian or pedro at this stage.

    PSG level thanks to Matuidi.

City influencing more control now. Their switches of play and the timing of them are on point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

4 goals, but no added time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

ha! this is you all over

    ?

Not sure what thay means. 9 times out of 10 he doesn't score that against Manuel. The safe option is to square it for Torres who scored 10 times our of 10.

Pretty sure the commentator just said the same thing as me.

I don't understand what Scott Brown's positives are, poor passer & hasn't the legs for the job. So many teams now just seem to press rather than have any sort of organisation. It works to an extend but when it goes wrong it looks embarrassing, happened Dortmund a few times last night (and every other game I seen them in this season coincidentally).

The lads saying Celtic player was offside for the first goal but the guy crossing the ball was ahead of his teammate who that headed it....how is that offside then?
