When the Celtic player (can't remember who it was) headed the ball, Dembele then became offside. No doubt about it. But it would have been hard for the linesman to see Dembele's touch from a side on view.

I know that but I always thought you could pass the ball back to a team mate even if your past the last defender without being offside.

City looked far more secure once Stones came on but certainly some issues there for City in terms of ball rotation when under pressure. There are areas that must be addressed and the lack of De Bruyne was really felt tonight, moreso because Gundogan doesn't look fully up to speed yet.

How much was because of Stones and how much was because Celtic were tired and starting retreating into their shells?

Great effort from Celtic, tremendously entertaining match. Atmosphere sounded brilliant...Wonder if any English clubs will push for a safe standing area.

The decision from Rodgers to play rodgball was critical to Celtic success. Dembelle and browns pirouette at the top of the head of the tripple edge double pivot was pivotal to Celtic success.
