Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Luis Enrique looks like yet another inept manager at Barca who is made to look decent by the likes of Messi and Suarez.

He's up **** creek if the players don't give a ****. Their more gifted players have been a disgrace tonight.

    Lol
They won the treble 2 years ago.

There are simply too many players off form at the moment.
Roberto and gomes aren't good enough, Busquets and rakitic have had poor seasons, neymar has been poor all season and Iniesta doesn't look fit.

    Matuidi's set the tone.

Thought Di Maria was playing very well. Would have left him on for another 10 minutes or so. Could have seen a hat-trick for him against his old foes!

Barca could score but theyre likely to ship a goal at every attack.

It's sad to see Busquets in this state.

    Not looking good for Verratti

    Who would you hire?

Who do the Barca fans want?

I don't know but then I've not put a lot of thought into it. Off the top of my head it'd be Sampaoli or Tuchel but a good board has contingency plans, it has ideas of how a club (and first team) should be shaped.

All of PSG have been great, but Rabiot is a standout. 21 and playing at this level ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Rezident

Looks like Veratti injured himself diving! Karma.

Big ask for Nkunku to come into this game.

Be interesting to see how Veratti's absence affects things

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Veratti's nickname is 'the owl', you can see the resemblance.

    It really isn't.

Harsh to blame Enrique when the players don't even run. Psg out working them. Possibly barca intense fixture list the past few weeks is a factor but even so their application has been abysmal.

Now it's probably fair to say tie over

He has been very poor since his groin injury last year, doesn't look the same player at all.

    Where is the midfield?

I think Cavani may have enjoyed that

Enrique will lucky to be in a job tomorrow. Out of the league too IMO.

Who was it that said a week or two ago that PSG needed to replace Zlatan? ;)

    What the actual **** hahaha.

    Brilliant stuff.

You'd think Pique would be able to time his run better for offside there. He ran with Cavani for ages

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

It was very, very sad to watch Iniesta try and track Meunier back there.

What's Ter Stegen at there? Far too easily in at the front post.

See that press? See how hilariously disjointed and ineffective it was? Time for Lucho to go. A proper possession orientated coach doesn't let that happen. A team with real shape and tactical understanding of how to defend the turnover don't let that happen. Welcome back to 2008, let's now see if Barcelona are as brave and have the same conviction as they did in 2009.

Zidane will be rubbing his hands with glee.
Good performance by psg but that's their final.

    And rightly so.

This is as inept a setup against a pacy, tricky counter attacking unit as you'll see. He's left legends like Iniesta out to dry.

Enrique's face really tells a story, looks absolutely baffled.

Hopefully they don't get an away goal before it's over .

    Some performance by PSG.

The 2nd Di Maria goal was pathetic from him. Sure he's been on the other end of enough of these scorelines so hard to feel too bad for him :p

Did TV3 just say "lovely little dive"
    Clowns

Bet the other Barca players wish they could hide their faces like Rafinha.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Rezident

The Champions league would be great if it wasn't for all the diving, I find it hard to take it seriously anymore.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

They could easily hit Barca for 6

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Barca should just unplug the PS4 now.

6 back against 2 psg players and they kept backing off. Shambolic stuff.
Backing off for the 3rd goal too.
