Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The way City worked that ball out from the back for that attack was just a joy to watch. Very patient but when the chance to play forward arrived they were decisive.

Atletico 2-0 up now away to Leverkusen.

Hell of a chance for Aguero. Great play and movement all round, just lacking that finishing touch.

That was deadly from Sane. Great player.

    Good goal.

Sane is really coming into his own over the past month or so. Terrific player.

Very lucky it didn't called for offside. Silly from Sterling, no need for him to have been ahead of the ball.

    Mile offside.

Steve McManaman: "Oh it's very close... Ah we'll let him off"

Had a giggle at that myself

But Sane and Sterling were behind and in an offside position when Sane passed it. Can a player be offside if he receives a pass from a player also offside if that pass is not forward, it's side ways or slightly behind.

Wasn't offside, watch the replay and the cut of the grass in particular, he's just on.

    Fat Cow !!!

Sterling deserved that to be called offside. Really silly on his part.

    Carabello punished.

Great to see Falcao back on form, one of the best strikers around when his confidence is high. :)

    Shocking by Cab there.

They were bigging up Caballero for ages earlier and now they're slating him for that on BT.

    Gas.

Unreal cross. Great goal... in between 2 defenders......

Why play it out from there just clear your lines

    Fantastic header and delivery

Great finish Falcao. Decisive in punishing the mistake. That's been the problem for City this season, their shape, structure, understanding of what Pep wants and their play has become better as the season has gone on but individual mistakes let them down. Caballero a clear weakness at this level.

Falcao is just an animal this season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,502 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

    Aguero booked for diving lol.

    Great decision by the ref.

Aguero diving before he got the touch

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

It's incredible how many big calls have gone against City this season. That's another.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,502 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

This game has everything, absolutely loving it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Pepsi Granola going mad

Augero chose the penalty, silly to make that choice. Should have just played on and passed it into net.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,672 ✭✭✭elefant

Some call. Fair play to the ref.

had only the manager the foresight to keep the best keeper at the club....

Aguero going down before he was touched. BT getting this all wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

What a cracking game. Both teams going for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

Why is he saying clear contact Aguero was going to ground and kicked the keeper.

It was simulation in the sense of him playing for it.

    Keeper got a touch anyway

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Well Pep got the card he was asking for.

Fair play? Are you nuts? That's a shocking decision. That was a clear penalty

They've scored an offside goal in this game already.
